True Growth (Aragón 1937) - Fair Wear - Unisex Organic T-Shirt - FREE DELIVERY

This T-shirt takes us back to the time of the Spanish Civil War and the Revolution. On 14 February 1937, the two-day constituent congress of the Aragonese Collective Federation (Federación de Colectividades de Aragón) began in Caspe, a small town in the province of Zaragoza. 24 so-called cantonal federations were represented. Together they represented a whole 275 villages with a total of 141,430 family members. At the congress, numerous resolutions were passed on how the collectives should treat each other. One of the most important resolutions was the abolition of money within the collective federation.

For this design we were able to win the Doom Folk musician and illustrator Conny Ochs. Conny was inspired by the abolition of money within the Federación de Colectividades de Aragón. For the design, he chose a 1-peseta coin from the founding year 1937. The coin disintegrates, becomes worthless, and gives way to nature. Nature makes its way through the centre of the coin in the form of a flower and grain, thus becoming a symbol of true growth.
